Executive Team Building
Why?
The KSF Executive Team Building process helps you take your team from its current level to the next plateau of effectiveness and accountability.

Most executives have advanced to their current positions by demonstrating expertise and accountability within their own discipline. This logical career path does not naturally prepare them for the cross-functional challenges of leading today’s organizations.

The Executive Team must be prepared to drive both the strategic and cultural agendas. Organizational focus, resource allocation, and the establishment of priorities demand shared accountability and cross-functional commitment at the top. A leadership team built on mutual respect and interpersonal accountability is a team ready to face the tough challenges and decisions.

What?
The KSF Executive Team Building process is designed to help teams develop a cross-functional accountability for their organizational leadership role. It causes team members to surface and identify behaviors and thinking that may individually and collectively limit their effectiveness as leaders.

The process provides a common experience that creates more effective communications and an interdependent commitment to their leadership role.

How?
KSF consultants conduct comprehensive and probing interviews with each member of your Executive Team. The interviews are focused on both interpersonal and team process dynamics. KSF consultants are very skillful and professional in their resolve to discover the underlying and defining characteristics of the team’s operating culture.

Your Executive Team will participate in an off-site team development exercise. The team will participate in a ‘read-back’ session to surface the issues identified in the interviews. The consultants will facilitate this exercise in a non-threatening, yet to-the-point manner.

The team will have an opportunity to evaluate its current level of effectiveness. They will then participate in a highly interactive and insightful learning experience culminating in the development of their own ‘team charter.’ The charter will define the behavioral characteristics and protocol they feel will result in the highest level of trust, respect and effectiveness among team members.

Pay-off!
A re-energized Executive Team with the personal accountability and interpersonal commitment to effectively lead your organization in today’s highly challenging, competitive, and dynamic environment.
